Pamela Kong is a San Francisco native and grew up in San Francisco’s Chinatown. She is zealously committed to workers’ rights and strives to eliminate discrimination and harassment in the workplace and to enforce compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws. She is also dedicated to advocating the rights of tenants and victims. Ms. Kong is fluent in Cantonese and conversant in Mandarin.
Before joining Salinas Law Group, Ms. Kong worked at McGuinn Hillsman & Palefsky, the Women’s Employment Rights Clinic and the Law Offices of John A. Kodani.
Ms. Kong graduated from Golden Gate Univerisity School of Law in 2002. During law school, Ms. Kong interned at the Eviction Defense Collaborative, the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, the Homeless Advocacy Project and GGU’s Women’s Employment Rights Clinic. She was also active in her school’s Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2002.
Ms. Kong is a member of the Asian American Bar Association and a volunteer at the Legal Aid Society Employment Law Center.
In 2011, she was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. This award is limited to the top 2.5 percent of lawyers under 40 in California.
